Hosting a Book Drive
Books
for America needs volunteers who are willing to organize book drives in
the Washington, DC metro area.
This could be at your office, church, apartment building, and many other
places.
It's easy to do - just make arrangements with your
office or organization administrator. Offices often place collection
bins (usually large cardboard boxes) in the cafeteria/kitchen or next to the main reception desk. We
provide you with a message that you can distribute throughout your
company or organization via email, or with signage and/or flyers if your
community cannot be reached effectively through e-mail. See below for a
